Angie is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She is also an Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Angie has spent her over 25-year career in various capacities helping children and families. She provides play therapy (directive and non-directive) and believes that it is crucial to partner with parents or caregivers to best meet the unique needs of children. Working from a strengths-based connection-focused perspective, Angie is passionate about providing each person an experience of feeling safe by being seen, heard, and valued.
Angie helps clients with challenges including adoption related issues, depression, attachment concerns, parenting, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. She is trained in EMDR, Theraplay Level 1, and Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. Angie is Certified to provide the Safe and Sound Protocol as well. She is a TBRI® Practitioner and incorporates the effective strategies into both her therapy sessions and in her daily life.
Angie is married to the best guy ever and is blessed with three children. She enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with family.
